2013, will be a challenging year for me, not only to my professional work but specifically to my belief.
2013, i am commited myself to go deeper into a bible study and history. My intention is really to know more about GOD, His character and hopefully He will let me know His way of thinking :)
So, I called this year as a year for the Truth, or please allow me to call it "Truth Seeker Campaign" :)
What i am trying to achieve through this campaign are only two things :
1. To know the truth about God's character. I found myself not exerting much effort to study more about God's character. I know by faith and i experience His goodness in my life, so i know that God is love. But dont you think you want to know more about Him? His emotions, how He handles things in this universe, how He hears our prayers, or does He really have plan to in our life, etc. By faith we can always answer these questions, but i will not use faith to shield my lazyness in studying the Bible , and see what the Bible really tells me.
2. To know the truth about true religion. My most challenging question i have so far is " Does God really fit into one religion" . We have so many beliefs/religions in this world, claimed to be the true religion. But what or who is the true religion? This year i will combine what Bible tells us about it, and most probably combine my study with historical data of how religion was made. Did God created all these religions or it was man made? So, did God create religion at all?
My prayer: Dear God, please guide me your servant, as i am trying to know more about you, and to simply seek for the truth. I have limited understanding, but i know you will help me, this has been my desires to know o ' Lord. Help me with your holy spirit to find the answers. Amen
